A painting project, an essay, and interviews, brought to you by Sally Jablonsky and the Try Harder Society.
Contents explore the many varied experiences of being a body, what it means to be a human animal, and in a relationship with the earth.
I also explore aesthetics and care as resistance, art making as tool use and as a self conceptualizing process, and looking at embodied experience (as a person with chronic illness) as a way of getting information about reality and meaning.
Using the body as a source of information, I am interested in revealing the human fantasy as well as creating a new framework to live within–one that shows the human experience in the greater context of the natural world.
